Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of Excelsior MC!  There are two levels of Membership;

Full Membership and Associate Membership.

FULL MEMBERSHIP

To qualify for Full Membership in Excelsior M.C. there are specific requirements as outlined in the Club's bylaws, as follows:

1. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age;

2. Demonstrate a genuine interest in the community;

3. Demonstrate strong and compatible character traits;

4. Attend at least one (1) business meeting;

5. Attend at least one (1) Club function (bar night, fundraiser, etc.); and

6. Acquire two Full Member sponsors. 

 

Upon completion of the above requirements, a member application can be completed and submitted to the Club. Once an application is reviewed and accepted by the Club during the October Business Meeting, the applicant will be notified and will become a Pledge. 

 

The Pledge is then required to fulfill the following requirements over a minimum four-month period as outlined in the Club's bylaws: 

1. Submit a one-time, non-refundable $50.00 probationary pledge member application fee*;

2. Attend one (1) out-of-town event;

3. Attend at least four (4) Club functions such as social activities, fundraising event, or co-sponsored activities sponsored by the Club;

4. Attend regular meetings with the Pledge Master and his fellow pledge class; and

5. Meet, and get to know, the Club brothers. 

 

Pledges are voted in as Full members during the April Business Meeting. Following the vote, the Treasurer will be in touch regarding your annual Club dues.

*If you are not accepted as a full member, or you choose not to continue, as a pledge, your fee will be refunded less a $5.00 application processing fee.

 

 

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP

Associate membership may be granted to individuals who are unable to become Full Members (because of distance, full membership in another similar club, or other  constraints).  To qualify for Associate Membership in Excelsior M.C. there are specific requirements as outlined in the Club's bylaws, as follows:

1. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age;

2. Demonstrate a genuine interest in the community;

3. Demonstrate strong and compatible character traits;

4. Attend at least one (1) business meeting OR at least one (1) Club function (bar night, fundraiser, etc.); and

5. Acquire two Full Member sponsors. 

 

Upon completion of the above requirements, an associate member application can be completed and submitted to the Club. Once an application is reviewed and accepted by the Club during a Business Meeting, the applicant will be notified regarding his membership as an Associate Member.

Following the vote, the Treasurer will be in touch regarding annual Club dues.

To maintain Associate Member status you are required to attend at least one (1) business meeting OR at least one (1) Club function annually.

*Please note, associate members are not required to fulfill the pledge process like a Full Member.
