New Alternatives
New Alternatives increases the self-sufficiency of LGBTQ+ homeless youth by enabling them to transition out of the shelter system to stable adult lives. The organization does this through long-term support, weekly case management, education services, life skills training, community-building recreational activities, opportunities for self-expression, and programs for HIV+ youth.

Founded in 1948, the Arts Project of Cherry Grove, Inc. (APCG) is the oldest known Gay/Lesbian theater in America. APCG is a 501c3 community service organization dedicated to presenting the arts in Cherry Grove, Fire Island, New York, one of America’s most colorful communities.

Fire Island Artist Residency (FIAR) is an organization founded in 2011 which brings lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer identifying emerging visual artists and poets to Fire Island, a place long-steeped in LGBTQ history, to create, commune, and contribute to the location's rich artistic history.
